The Guesthouse has proven to be an ideal place for family gatherings. You can use either one of the two suites to meet and eat but have the bistro at your disposition too.

Dining and Aperos

We help you to prepare breakfasts and brunches in-house or organize takeaways and private cooks. In case you wish to make a fondue or raclette, the equipment is waiting in the common kitchen.

Or why not have a private dinner in the the bistro (max 25 persons).

For big events (up to 45) people we can open up the whole groundfloor.

Le Locle is rich in gastronomic restaurants with three Gault Millau cooks and other highly praised gourmet chefs.  

Program

Our guests profit from being close to nature with a multitude of short and longer walks waiting. Often they like to visit the Doubs falls or they go see the Creux du Van and stop by in Môtier to learn more about the mystic Absinth story or the whys that led monks to build huge caves serving still the Mauler Winery.. We can arrange for private tours in the Watch Museum and Underground Mills. Neuchâtel Tourisme proposes several events to get more insight into watchmaking.

The friendly and generous atmosphere helps to make your event unforgettable. The elderly profit from the elevator and comfortable showers. The kids are invited to run around, have their uncles read them the children’s books at hand or play cards.

Our spaces are designed for philosophers. But they serve as well for work retreats. Or schooling tasks. The groups enjoy an entirely calm, friendly and inspiring environment in a region still to be discovered. The hotel, by proposing individual rooms and big suites, allows an ideal choreography of meeting and separating.

The two suites are in the upper part of the building, a calm and private escape, ideal for important business meatings, workshops and retreats. You have a highly performing WLAN, a beamer and a flip chart at your disposal.

There are good takaways in Le Locle or La Chaux-de-Fonds

There are besides casually good restaurants several high class restaurants too, if you like to give your group a treat.

Meet

Bistro & Terrace

The bistro and terrace are available to our guests, except during private events. More and more friends from the nearby town are coming to host discussions and various evening gatherings here. These activities are generally open to our guests and offer great opportunities to connect and socialise.

The bistro can also be reserved for private events for a rental fee.

Professional Kitchen

The professional kitchen and equipment make it suitable for hosting apéros and meals for up to 25 people (more if the reception area and library are included).

The two common rooms, ideal for relaxing, reading, or spending time together, are available to our guests.


Reception

The hotel reception is usually open between 9:00–11:00 and 16:00–18:00.We can always be reached via the hotel phone: +41 32 932 22 44.

Library

The library includes books introducing the region and covering topics such as watchmaking, industrial history, local history, regional development, UNESCO World Heritage, Art Nouveau, Le Corbusier, local flora, and wildlife.

Nourish

Communal Kitchen

The shared kitchen offers guests a selection of breakfast additions, all included in the room rate: fruit juices, eggs, small cheeses, individual jam portions and jars, frozen toast, ice cream, and butter.

Equipment

A fully equipped kitchen is available to our guests.

Raclette grills and fondue burners are provided. Oil, vinegar, salt, and other basics are available.
